Cheese Pairing

Pairing Notes

Scotch and cheddar are made for each other. With a hint of sweet maple, this cheddar with its delicate smokiness takes on an even broader flavour profile. It finds a perfect match in the Rusty Nail.
This is basically scotch on the rocks with the added complexity of Drambuie, itself a scotch-based liqueur made with honey and herbs. The Drambuie adds sweetness, so feel free to play with the proportions to find your perfect balance.
The original recipe calls for 50:50 ratio of scotch to Drambuie, but many prefer a dryer cocktail, such as 2 ounces of scotch and a half ounce of Drambuie. Experiment!
