This mild but flavourful Jack has a wonderful creamy texture and prominent smoke. A formidable amber or dark ale should be able to temper the smoke while enveloping the cheese's buttery texture with caramel/toffee flavours, light toast and fruity sweetness. American ales may have pronounced hops, but if that is to your liking, give them a try.
